Italian jazz on the road 2015
[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” text_text_color=”#000000″ text_font_size=”15px” custom_margin=”||31px|||” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”]College of Music of Rome, the best known and renowned music didactic reality in Italy, with the contribution of MiBact (Italian Culture Ministry), which brought 40 young musicians in European tour, from Rome to London from Helsinki to Barcelona, from Maastricht to Aalborg.An ambitious international cooperation project meant to offer a special outlet and a European opening to the new Italian jazz, debuting in September 2015 in Auditorium Parco della Musica of Rome.
Italian jazz on the road 2015. 8 are the participating groups, from duo to orchestra line-ups. Heterogeneous are the repertoires, for concerts in which jazz contaminates with funk, song-writing or Mediterranean.
Saint Louis Combo feat. Saint Louis Voices Section, directed by M° Antonio Solimene / Three for Play / Lala & Sade duo / Mario Nappi Trio / A-Trio / Giovanni Candia Trio / The Melody Makers, feat. Marco Siniscalco / Bipolary Jazz Duo / Vittorio Solimene.
5 are the top-level European High Education Artistic Institutes, already Saint Louis partners in other pioneering projects, who enthusiastically accepted to be the guests of the European stop-overs, hosting the concerts in beautiful locations inside or outside their own facilities:
- Trinity-Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance– London, United Kingdom
- Metropolia– Helsinki, Finland
- Conservatorium Maastricht– Maastricht, The Netherlands
- Royal Academy of Music of Aarhus/Aalborg– Aalborg, Denmark
- Conservatory Liceu – Barcelona, Spain
On the whole, Italian Jazz on the Road (2015) realized 30 concerts throughout Europe!
